Anwar ahli Freemason?

http://www.anwaraidc.com/?p=26951
Anwar Freemason? Tun Mustapha pun di tuduh ahli Freemason. Dalam
selidik saya, tiada masala lah menjadi ahli freemason. Sama juga jadi
ahli rotary Club dll. Namun, terdengar cerita ini kembali, ingat pula
aku cerita Tun Mustapha. Dikaji dengan fitnah fitnah UMNO yang lain,
saya sekarang sudah pasti ini adalah fitnah belaka, untuk merampas
hasil Sabah dan saya telah bersalah kerana tidak menguatkan kesangsian
saya. Freemason adalah persatuan Yahudi yang amat rahsia? Kenapa buka
rahsia sekarang? Hubungan UMNO dengan Yahudi memang terbukti kuat,
maklumlah dua dua gila wang. Tida mustahil, propaganda ini dari UMNO
yang membayar Freemason untuk merosakkan nama 2 pejuang Islam. Kedua
dua taat kepada hukum Islam dan berani bersuara tentang Islam.

living under a cruel government

http://biz.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2012/8/21/business/11886768&sec=business

Thank you opposition parties. You wake me up to the cruelty committed
against me these last few decades. How could I be so foolish to
believe in government propaganda.

I had to endure debts that destroy my income. It is the worst taxation
ever. I used to believe that cars are not necessities but trying to
travel by bus is both dangerous and a wate of time and money.

The high taxation was promised to give better road, public
transportation and better job prospects as a result of a good car
industry. All are just false promises. Developed nations like Japan
and UK, recently developed nations like Korea and Taiwan, have much
better road, public transport and car industry despite not having high
car taxations that are ultimately paid by every citizen.

Now the government want to compare itself with similarly corrupt and
backward nations like Indonesia and Philippines that both suffer from
acute dictatorships? This is evidence enough that Malaysia had suffer
red from similar dictatorsip illness due to its censored newspapers
and curbs on opposition parties, where stupid lies like this attached
article are forced fed to the people.

Now I had to pay for my stupidity. I spent my time paying for high car
taxes without any improvement in my quality of life. The government is
supposed to help the citizens, not squeeze them hard. It was much
better under the British colony. We cannot get jobs easily without
paying a lot of money to get useless degrees that cannot guarantee
jobs. This was despite not having natural resources like oil palm and
petroleum. Now, we are lucky if our children work in our home towns.

Now the article below claimed that to reduce car tax will make
citizens lose money because they cannot sell it back? Just refund the
tax lah! Is it so difficult to do? If you claim that it will reduce
the development projects, it was just a repeat of all the previous
lies. Don't develop lah! It is the people who develop. Once the people
have money, only then will the nations develop like Korea, Taiwan and
Hong Kong!

Even now, despite burdened by high car taxes, we are still burdened by
road tolls, road taxes and insurances. Our road tax is lower than
Thailand? Combine it with exorbitant car tax and loan shark car park
operators, then you can get the true picture. Malaysia has the highest
government overall tax without anything to show for it.

Traffic jams get worse instead of getting less.

Revised NAP likely to include policy to reduce car prices over next
3-4 years

PETALING JAYA: The revised National Automotive Policy (NAP) will
include a policy that will address the gradual reduction of car prices
in the country, said an industry source.

"The Government, through the Malaysia Automotive Institute (MAI), had
engaged us in the past few months to discuss on the matter," he told
StarBiz.

"There will be a policy that will tackle the gradual reduction of car
prices in Malaysia. Details of this policy are expected to be made
public in the near future," he added.

The source said the policy would outline a structure to gradually
reduce car prices over the next three to four years.

What happens to second-hand cars? Naza Group of Companies joint
executive chairman SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin was quoted in a recent
report as saying: if prices dropped, the resale value of a car would
then plummet but the loan amount owed to banks (on cars already
bought) would be unchanged.
The Government has been considering it (the reduction of car prices)
in the revised NAP and it was only a matter of time for this issue to
be addressed," said the industry source.

It is a known fact that the prices of cars are high in Malaysia
compared with Thailand.

However, it has been argued that the cost of vehicle ownership in
Malaysia is still among the most competitive in the Asean region,
primarily due to the subsidised fuel prices, cheaper road tax and
insurance premiums.

In a recent news report, MAI chief executive officer Madani Sahari was
quoted as saying that Malaysia had the second lowest cost of vehicle
ownership in the region after the Philippines.

According to him, the cost of vehicle ownership in Malaysia, compared
to Thailand and Indonesia, was lower by 39% and 12% respectively.

In terms of petrol prices, Thailand was the highest, followed by
Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines, Madani said in the
news report.

Meanwhile, on the point of car prices being slashed overnight via the
reduction of vehicle excise duties, industry observers argue that the
impact would be negative for existing buyers rather than first-time
ones.

"If you're a first-time buyer, it would be like a dream come true as
it means you can now afford to buy a car that was too expensive
previously," said one industry observer who requested anonymity.

"For the existing buyer, it would mean that the resale value of the
car would have diminished overnight," he added.

It is also argued that the sudden drop in vehicle prices would have a
severe impact on second-hand car dealers.

Those servicing existing car loans will also be severely affected.

In a local news report recently, Naza Group of Companies joint
executive chairman SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin was quoted as saying
that if taxes were scrapped, consumers would have to overpay bank
loans taken for their vehicles.

In the report, Nasarudin claimed that if prices dropped, the resale
value of a car would then plummet but the loan amount owed to banks
would be unchanged.

pengalaman dalam pentadbiran diktator

konon diharamkan! Semua orang main juga. Kecederaan jadi juga. Yang
untung gangster dan pegawai rasuah. Yang rugi, rakyat biasa bukan saja
dari segi wang, tetapi kesyhiokan dan ilmu. Inilah yg terjadindinegara

Re: Experience designing the simplest CPU

I used the schematic design entry with verilog as its output,
generated by Megawizard code generator. The PC uses a synchronous up
counter, which can be loaded. We need to add additional logic. I have
just learned this block editor. In fact a lot of time is spent trying
to familiarise myself with the connecting methods. Wasted a lot of
time not using the rubber banding option. Should have been the
default. I tried to use conduit but was not what I thought it was. I
was trying to relabel the same bus with alternative names as used in
the book but failed. In the end just use the last bus name.

For the ALU, I simply use the adder-subtractor. Not even a pass
through. Just add to a zero.

For the machine code generation. I shall use MPLAB IDE to produce hex
from binary. With only 16 instruction memory, programming should not
be difficult.

Experience designing the simplest CPU

With a textbook, good Altera Quartus II tutorial, from the vendor,
Terasic for the DE2-115, I thought I can easily design and test the
mano risc cpu.

In just a few hours, finished, but on compiling, no output at all.
Spent the next few hours deleting parts one by one, and yet, until
only the PLL oscillator left, still no output. The PLL was the same as
in the tutorial and yet no problem previously. Whatever the probem, it
was not due to the design. Must be some sort of licensing problems. I
use the free web edition of the Altera Quartus using the Megawizard
functions, in Verilog. The vendor tutorial uses Verilog.

The mano risc design looked simple until we actually implement it.
risc design requires 3-port RAM. Altera free edition only provides 2-
ported RAM. Luckily searching the internet provides inspiration for a
3-port design using a 2-ported RAM. No wonder RISC style of GP
registers was not popular in the early days. This 3-port design is
also the secret of RISC performance.

The book is almost complete, except the PC portion. Initially I wanted
to simplify it by using only branch on zero only, but adding the
negative condition is simple. I don't think it is wise to implement a
relative jump so I changed it to just offset jump, like PIC.

Educational Computer Architecture

There is a list of:
ISO Hobbyist Computer Architecture

Also lists of open core computer architectures.

I am evaluating all these for educational purposes.

I had made a comparative lists of VHDL written cpu soft cores but I
have lost it but have chosen a few VHDL open core CPUs for learning
purposes. I even made it into an assignment for students.

1. Simulating Weijun Zhang VHDL CPU
2. Simulating Hamblen's MIPS
3. Simulating CQPIC

All are written using VHDL. However I notice that the industry is
going for Verilog so we may have to equip students with Verilog. I
have not gone deeper into this subject yet.

There are problems with learning about computer architecture using
these open cores. The most important is the lack of detailed
documentation. Ashenden may have written a book but I cannot find its
source code. The book is more about writing VHDL than about computer
architecture.

For me, language either VHDL or Verilog is a temporary phenomena.
After going through all the computer languages and design tools cycles
and developments, the most important aspect of learning is about the
fundamentals, not the specifics. These tools keep on evolving so we
must keep up but fundamentals never change.

So I now start looking for better educational computer architecture,
or computer organizations. It has to be extremely simple. The simplest
the better. It has to be better documeted, with links to logic design
principles. It can either written in any HDL, but it has to have
schematic diagrams.

Schematic diagrams help a lot in making people understand quickly. The
idea is to let even weak students understand computer
organization(hardware) and therefore computer architecture(ISA).

Learning about instruction set is one way of learning but not
complete. We can only simulate but there is something missing in not
being able to simulate the hardware and the information flows
graphically. There are available instruction set simulators for which
the iso computer architecture lists may include, but I have abandoned
it in favour of soft cores.

We now have free FPGA tools, especially from Altera Quartus II and
Modelsim. We can compile VHDL and Veriflog easily but it is still too
hard for many students. Graphical interface is vital towards
undestanding.

After scanning a few tex books about computer architecture, Stallings,
Mano, Hennessy, Tanenbaum, Hamacher, Murdocca, Cragon, I notice that
among the simplest is the one by Mano and Kime in the book Logic and
Compute Design fundamentals. I use this book for our Logic design
course but have not studied the computer design parts in detail until
a few weeks ago.

Mano described the computer design using state tables and diagrams.
For both single cycle as well as multicycle implementations. It is
complete. It even has zero insertion for immediate data.

I start googling for real implementations of Mano's processor.
The best implementiion for eduational use is this:
AC 2010-45: HDL BASED DESIGN PROBLEMS FOR COMPUTER
ARCHITECTURE , Chad E. Hager, Steven F. Barrett, Cameron H. G. Wright,
archived in http://search.asee.org

http://search.asee.org/search/fetch;jsessionid=1kf7y38dinafd?url=file%3A%2F%2Flocalhost%2FE%3A%2Fsearch%2Fconference%2F32%2FAC%25202010Full45.pdf&index=conference_papers&space=129746797203605791716676178&type=application%2Fpdf&charset=

The mano machine is documented in the wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mano_machine
The description may be wrong because it is not an accumulator based
CPU. It uses 2 operand addresses and 1 destination address.

Accumulator based CPU may be small, like PDP8 and PIC, but it is
difficult to implement, or is it to explain. Whereas as 3-addrss RISC
style, is much easier to explain as X = Y + Z, which is intuitive for
humans.

Is there any other open source machines which allow us to explain to
students in the easiest possible way?
Hopefully computer architecture will not viewed as being difficult.
Anyone should be able to understand the fundamentals.

Tanenbaum explains in his textbook about his processeor sthe Mic-1 to
Mic-4, but it appears to be too complex for beginning students.
