There is no point and very expensive in attacking the military who are
threatening civilians in Libya. 1 billion US had been spent and more
will be spent.
Just by targeting Gadafi and people around him, would be much more
cost effective. Do not bother with civilian casualties. Even civilians
who hate Gadafi do not mind being bombed accidentally as shown by the
rescue of the US airmen in Benghazi. Anyone who supports and protects
Gadafi are also guilty of the crimes against humanity and deserve the
death penalty so if they are found supporting and nearing the places
that Gadafi was found, they should be bombed. If they die, they
deserve it.
For Muslims, it is very clear that supporting murderers mean that they
are no longer Muslims. Even by not doing anything to stop Gadafi ALSO
MEANS that their faith is compromised because Prophet Muhammad already
stated clearly that to hate a crime silently in ones heart only,
instead of stopping it physically or vocally, means that ones faith in
Islam is the WEAKEST.
It shows how bad Muslims are all over the world. Only Qatar and UAE
are real Muslims. The rest are just hypocrites. And this includes the
Saudi Arabia. They are only Muslims in name.
In fact it is the French that is the best in the world. They support
the rebel, whose sole purpose was to topple Gadafi, i.e. to stop the
slaughter of innocent civilians. Followed by USA and UK.

Muslims should stop supporting murderers: Idiotic Chandra

Chandra may proclaim that he is fighting for a just world and yet
supporting Gadafi, the proven mass murderers and liar does not help
his cause. What makes him think that US, UK and France want to spend
billions of RM just to get oil that they don't need. Most of Libya's
oil is exported to Itali that is not involved with the air strikes.
Hasn't it occurred to him that cease fire is precisely what was
DEMANDED BY US, UK and France!!!!
For 3 times, Gadafi announces ceasefire and yet keep on bombing
CIVILIANS!!!
Just because these are muslim soldiers, do not give them the right to
kill openly unarmed citizens using snipers and heavy guns and tanks.
The proofs are clearly spoken out by their victims via telephone calls
and verifications by international news agencies. There is no such
confirmation, except by OFFICAL LIBYAN mouth pieces, declaring the
cease fires while still killing and while still not announcing the SO
CALLED CEASEFIRE in their own censored TV broadcasts.
CEASEFIRE is all that the allied air force demanded from Gadafi. Even
this is ignored by GADAFI. He wants to keep on killing his own unarmed
citizens. Any attempt to support such bloody murderers mean that you
are a bloody murderer yourself. It does not matter how you call
yourself. Anyone who use physical force to stop these murders from
being committed are the real faithful people. Unfortunately NONE of
the Muslim nations had come close. Only Qatar and UAE had started
patrolling the skies but with no proven actions to stop the guns and
tanks of Gadafi from firing on innocents, they are not proven to have
such a high faith in their own religion.
Why attack Gadafi's army in Adjabiya? Because civilians were
traumatised and displaced by the indicriminate shelling and sniper
fire by Gadafi's army. Similarly for Misrata. But now, it is
difficult to stop these killings becuase they are now in the cities.
It is up to the ill equipped Libyans to stop these bloody murderers.
It is sad to see that Muslim victims had to rely on non-Muslims in
order to protect their lives.
Why should the ill equipped but armed citizens of Misrata not want a
ceasefire??? They are short of water, food and medicine. With a
ceasefire, all these humanitarian aid can get through. Certainly not
now when Misrata is surrounded by bloody murderers and rapists, as
whown by this article:
http://edition.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/africa/03/26/libya.beaten.woman/
Why should the citizens be armed and not let the army through their
streets in peace? Do you want your sisters to be raped like this
woman????
Or killed just because you are a MAN? In fact this is reported by
witnesses in Ajdabiya, by ACTUAL INTERVIEWS of CITIZENS!!!! Not by
false announcements by Gadafi's mouth pieces.

Stop the killing in Libya
PEACE-LOVING citizens of the world should appeal to the governments of
France, Britain, the United States and others involved in the aerial
bombardment of Libya, the Muammar Gaddafi government, and the rebels
opposing it to cease all military operations immediately.
Some governments have already called for a total ceasefire, among them
China, India, Iran, Russia and Turkey.
There are at least two compelling reasons why military operations
should stop at once.
One, in spite of denials from the US, British and other Western
military commands, some alternative media are reporting mounting
civilian casualties. The "No Fly Zone" that these states are
attempting to impose upon Libya is supposed to save lives, but what is
happening is something else.
Two, even if Western air power destroys not only Libya's aerial
defence but also Gaddafi's entire military machine, there is no
guarantee that he and his coterie will be ousted from power,
considering that he still enjoys some support among his people.
On the ground, he is stronger militarily than his opponents, who are
split into contending factions and are hopelessly disorganised.
This can lead to a protracted civil war with dire consequences for the
country and the region as a whole.
The cessation of military conflict would be one aspect of a much
larger negotiated political settlement between Gaddafi and the rebels
that must include his own departure and the exit of his family and
cronies from the citadel of power in the shortest possible time.
An interim government, a proper constitution and provision for a free
and fair election would all be part of the deal.
The Chinese, Indian, German, Russian and Brazilian governments can
also help to bring the Gaddafi government and the rebels to the
negotiating table, and the Turkish leadership has the credibility and
the ability to play a pivotal role.
Given the likelihood of a stalemate on the military front, it is not
inconceivable that Gaddafi and the rebels will agree to talk,
especially if there is sufficient international pressure.
However, can the Western allies also be persuaded to end their
military assault immediately?
The chances are remote. Since their real objective is to establish
control over Libya and its oil and gas through a pliable regime, they
will continue their attack until there is some certainty that such a
regime will emerge.
If the "No Fly Zone" does not achieve the allies' goal, one should not
rule out the injection of ground troops into the battlefield, though
there is some hesitation among the allies about such a course of
action at this moment.
Their dogged determination to pursue their objective convinces
observers that the Libyan adventure parallels in some respects the US
helmed war on behalf of Kuwait in 1991 and the Iraq war of 2003. In
all three instances the desire to gain control over oil emerges as the
common factor.
That it is their self-interest that dominates their political
machinations in West Asia and North Africa becomes even more obvious
in the stance that the United States and its allies have adopted
towards the crisis in Bahrain and Yemen.
Though the Bahraini royal family has brutally suppressed the mass
uprising of its largely Shi'ite population with the help of soldiers
and tanks from neighbouring
Saudi Arabia, US, British and French leaders have acquiesced with the
move largely because the king, Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa,
is their loyal ally who hosts the US Fifth
Fleet.
Similarly, when another ally, the President of Yemen, Ali Abdullah
Salleh, who has been in power for 32 years, mobilised his security
forces and his militia to massacre 52 peaceful protesters on March 18,
all that President Obama could do was to make some innocuous noises
about the inappropriateness of violent responses to people's demands.
If some popular movement succeeds in toppling an oppressive dictator
allied to the West – as had happened in Egypt and Tunisia – then
either Washington or London or Paris will try to direct the flow of
change in the post-uprising phase, aided and abetted by those
institutions and individuals in the country in question with whom it
enjoys close ties.
Managing and manipulating the people's desire for genuine change in
this manner,
or endorsing the suppression of popular movements, or exploiting a
rebellion in
order to seize a nation's resources, only
serve to undermine the Arab uprising of
2011.
The Arab masses, and indeed people everywhere, should not allow this
to happen.

Germans have always supported Hitler: Gadafi example

Germany's lack of concern about the atrocities committed by Gadafi in
Libya shows that Germans are repeating their behaviours when they
supported Hitler in Germany. Despite the mass murders committed
against Jews right at their door steps, the germans claim ignorance.
Now I believe it is all lies.

How can you claim ignorance in the case of Libya with all the
Satellite channels broadcasting the murders of innocents in Libya, as
well as telephone calls made by doctors in Libya and journalists
reporting about the atrocities committed by unarmed citizens of Libya.

Any nation or do not take action against Libya is also guilty of
supporting all these atrocities that are equal to the atrocities
committed by Germany against Jews.

The lack of action of Arab nations are understandable because most of
them are dictatorships, but situations like Yemen, where soldiers
rebelled against order to kill ordinary citizens shows that ordinary
Arabs are compassionate. It is only their leaders.

Germany is a different story. It is supposed to be a democracy and a
very rich and capable nation. It worries me about the nature of their
citizens when confronting mass murders. They are tolerating it now,
but it means that they are capable of doing it.

It applies to all nations and people that are supporting Gadafi by
inaction or condemning the killing of murderers in Libya, are also
guilty as murderers themselves, and will most likely be murderers in
future.

For Muslims, it is very clear that anyone who do not stop murders,
will lose faith in Islam and will no longer be recognised as Muslims.
That applies to all the Arab leaders who do not support the killing of
Gadafi, not just deposing him from Libya. For Islam it is very clear,
murderers must be killed.

The real Sultan of Sulu is actually in Sabah not Philippines

The Filipinoes like to claim that the last recognised Sultan of Sulu,
Jamalul Kiram II, although have many wives, do not leave any children,
and that he was poisoned. It does not make any sense at all.

The story mentioned here is more convincing. The children had been
sent away to a safe place just before Sulu was handed over to the US.
the safest place was to Sabah, that was administered by United
Kingdom, but leased from the Sultan of Sulu.

Even Filipinoes admit that the Sultan claimants in the Philippines are
not the true descendents of the last Sultan, claiming that the last
valid Sultan was poisoned and had no children.

Dengan megikuti langkah-langkah seperti berikut;

1.pertama, tegakkan syiar islam walaupun dimana anda berada.
hidup.
3.ketiga, kalau di sabah, malaysia, dapatkan hak kewarganegaraan.
4.keempat,Carilah nafkah demi kehidupan, berniagalah ikut peraturan.

kerana pemilik negeri Sabah Sultan Hj.Mohd.Jamalul Kiram ll,mangkat
biasanya selepas menjadi YB,mahu lagi menjadi TYT,entahlah sehingga

seterusnya

kedudukan Sultan Tajul Muluk sebenarnya agak mengelirukan sebab ia
bergelar Sultan Jamalul Kiram II.maka sepatutnya gelaran Sultan Tajul
rumah bicara( he is a screatery to the sultanate)

tahun 1884 hingga 1936 (52 Tahun).

2.Tahun 1903 memajakkan negeri Sabah kepada Oven dan Back Syarikat
Berpiagam Inggeris North Borneo dari Pulau Si Amil hingga ke atas.

3.Tahun 1918 Membantu Kesultanan Brunei di pulau Chalamian Filipina.

4.Tahun 1920 jam 12.00 tengah malam anak-anaknya hilang. Enam orang
anak-anak Datu Jahaba @ Sultan Embong (Jamalul Kiram ll) iaitu cucu-

5.Tahun 1924 menyerahkan kuasa Kesultanan Sulu kepada U.S (The Last
Political Power).
6.Tahun 1936 memperbaharui pemajakkan negeri Sabah sekali lagi.

7. Sultan Embong (Jamalul kiram ll datang mencari dan memastikan
mereka selamat menjalani kehidupan di borneo di Kg.Pantau-Pantau
Semporna kemudian pulang ke Sulu.Sultan Embong datang ke Borneo semula
untuk mengambil anak-anaknya tetapi mereka belum mahu balik
lagi.Akhirnya Baginda Sultan Embong menetap di K.gPantau-Pantau pulau
Bum-Bum Semporna buat beberapa ketika lamanya.

8.Kerajaan Filipina masih mencari Sultan Embong @ Sultan Jamalul Kiram
ll kemana perginya sebab beliau masih Sultan di Sulu.Inilah Sultan
yang hilang sebenarnya.Oleh kerana takhta Sultan Sulu telah kosong
maka barulah saudaranya yang keturunan Muwalil Wasit Kiram mengambil
alih takhta Kesultanan Sulu sehingga kini.Keturunan Muwalil Wasit
saudaranya Sultan Jamalul Kiram ll.

9.Pada 06/06/1936 baginda mangkat di Tong Si Ambo-Ambo di Kg.Pantau-
Pantau Pulau Bum-Bum Semporna.

sehingga tahun 1936.("no issue about male until 1936") sebab keluarga

Tun
Mustapha menasihatkan mereka supaya mendaftar menjadi rakyat Malaysia.

13.Semasa pemerintahan USNO Tun Mustapha pernah menawarkan Datu

14.Sehingga sekarang anak-anak,cucu-cucu,cicit-cicit,cucut-cucut semua

Hj.Muhammad Jamalul Kiram ll.Kalau kita buat penyelidikan tentang
sebelah kampung-kampung Bum-bum,Gusung Malanta mengatakan makam Tajul

JAHABA BIN MULUK MANDARASA
( Sultan Embong @ Sultan Hj.Muhammad Jamalul Kiram ll. 1936 )

http://us.mc1119.mail.yahoo.com/mc/welcome?.gx=0&.tm=1251598673&.rand=036suvil185jn

Oleh Sultan Hj.Muhammad Jamalul Kiram ll. (Mangkat Di Kg.Pantau-Pantau
Pulau Bum-Bum Semporna 1936.)

Kedua : "Tok jangan kamu lupa,
Lahat itu lahat be!".Terjemahan bahasa melayu:"Kepada anak-anak
Tempat kamu"..

Pesanan ini Oleh :-
Datu Panglima Juani (Mangkat di Kebun Bunga,Semporna 1976).
Datu Panglima Mambang (Mangkat di Tarapuli Semporna 1987).
Datu Jalmaani Bin Datu Panglima Juani (Mangkat di Pulau Sebatik Tawau
12.02.2007)
Datu Majurani (Mangkat di Tawau 18.12.2006)
Datu Sambutu Datu Panglima Laja (Mangkat di Look Tulayan Sulu 1983)

Apabila kami semak dalam beberapa maklumat
2. "No issue about male until 1936"

The fate or disunited boneless foreigners in Libya is similar to Malaysia

These Africans are given arms and sent to the front line to fight.
Most of them, fearing being shot at the back, followed orders to shoot
at civilans. They should have shot at their captors at the earliest
opportunities or die in honour. Most of them, however, have chosen the
path of least resistance, i.e. kill civilians or rebels. In the end,
many died this way as unwilling soldiers. The worst is that the
foreigners' reputation is tainted. They are hated everywhere. If they
had chosen the path of honour, instead of money, they would have been
respected by all parties and left alone, although many would have died
to prove this point. Better die in honour. If you take money you still
die anyway finally, but this time without honour.

Similarly in Malaysia, especially Sabah. The Filipino migrants are
given temporary Identification Cards in order to vote for the ruling
government. This is called the phantom voters' phenomenom. It can
easily be proven by the more than 100% voting in critical areas, or
the more than 90% voting in Trengganu which is rich in oil revenue but
certainly not benefiting the Trengganu residents, because Trengganu is
the 2nd poorest after Sabah.

Given ICs and voting booth in secret, instead of voting with honour,
they have chosen to be corrupted by the money that are supposed to be
given to them. This made the opposition parties angry and target these
foreigners for their evil deeds. There are rumors that locals had
killed many of them, If they have voted in honour, instead of
succumbing to corruption, they would have been respected by all and
escape all the hatred and intimidation. The ruling party will not
intimidate them any more and opposition parties will respect them as
well. Some may be intimiated by being deported etc, but even after
voting for the ruling parties, many are still deported also. Doesn't
it sound similar to Libya?

It may be just voting in Malaysia, but will generate to fighting if
this goes on. If fighter were to erupt in Malaysia, the ruling party
will resort to the same tactics as Libya.

Africans say Libyan troops try to make them fight

* Africans threatened then told fighting is best option

* Some said to have agreed to take up guns for Gaddafi

* Robbery and intimidation make flight a high risk

By Douglas Hamilton

RAS JDIR CAMP, Tunisia, March 7 (Reuters) - Libyan troops loyal to
Muammar Gaddafi are rounding up black African migrants to force them
to fight anti-Gaddafi rebels, young African men who fled to Tunisia
said on Monday.

In separate accounts at this refugee camp, they said they were raided
in their homes by soldiers, beaten and robbed of their savings and
identity papers, then detained and finally offered money to take up
arms for the state.

Those who refused were told they would never leave, said Fergo
Fevomoye, a 23-year-old who crossed the border on Sunday.

"They will give you a gun and train you like a soldier. Then you fight
the war of Libya. As I am talking to you now there is many blacks in
training who say they are going to fight this war. They have prized
(paid) them with lots of money.

He said Africans who are first intimidated and stripped of everything
were then offered 250 Libyan dinars ($200) to train as fighters.

"They said I should take money and fight. They would give me 250
dinars. I said No. When I told them No they told me I would not go
anywhere," he told Reuters.

The Libyan governemnt has denied using foreign nationals to fight the
rebels, saying instead that dark-skinned Libyans serving in its
security forces had been mistaken for African mercenaries.

INSTANT "MERCENARIES"

When protests against Gaddafi's government led to violence three weeks
ago, rebels spread reports that the Libyan leader had brought in
African mercenaries from such states as Chad and Zimbabwe.

But the suggestion that trained, uniformed troops were being flown in
to help suppress the revolt has not been proven.

The accounts now emerging of how some black migrants are successfully
being forced into taking up arms for the Libyan state may be one
explanation of these reports of black fighters.

Whatever the truth, Nigerian and Ghanians in this transit camp all say
they were suddenly very afraid to show their faces in the cities of
western Libya where they worked, in case they were taken for
mercenaries or dragooned by government troops.

Obinna Obielu, an electrician who had worked in Libya for 12 years and
said he had saved 10,000 dollars, escaped with his two friends and
their wives and two babies in an old Land Cruiser.

Obielu said the main road from Zawiyah, 50 km (30 miles) west of
Tripoli was too dangerous, and he had driven through the bush close to
the frontier.

"I go off, because it is not a good road. Because they are attacking
people and sending them back to go and fight in the war," he said.
"The car is left back there."

Daniel Chibuzor and Tijanx Sadiki also recounted how they were raided
and robbed at home and left with no papers and no money for food,
terrified of appearing on the streets, before they decided to risk
travelling west to Tunisia.

A baby daughter, Ability, and infant son, Miracle, travelled with the
group. Ability needed treatment at the Tunisian Army's mobile hospital
for tear-gas inhalation.

Nigerian Ike Emanuel, who made it to the safety of Tunisian territory
last week after burying his six-month-old baby in the desert, said he
had talked to many of the latest arrivals among his countrymen and
heard the same theme: Africans were being trapped and forced to either
fight or flee.

Over 105,000 migrant workers have fled from Libya into Tunisia in the
past 10 days, most of them Egyptians but also including some 20,000
Bangladeshis. The Egyptians have since been reptriated by airlift,
after making angry protests about the Cairo government's alleged
inaction.

The Bangladeshis and thousands of west Africans remain in the United
Nations refugee agency's transit camp, which is being prepared for a
possible influx of refugees the agency fears may be trapped inside
Libya but desperate to escape.

Fergo Fevomoye said it was a sympathetic Libyan policeman who
eventually helped him escape, "because if not I am going to stay here
20 years, I am going to die here". (Editing by Angus MacSwan)

Video games are helping youngsters fight Gadafi

It may look disorganised but playing video games have trained these
youngsters how to operate modern weapon systems and how they are
aimed.

I believe it is a mistake for them to slow down their advance. They
are not fighting against willing opponents. Not many of the soliders
and mercenaries are willing fighters. Just a little pressure, many
will rebel and run away against their masters who force them to kill
innocent civilians.

If I were one of those who are forced to handle guns, I surely will
turn against those people at the earliest opportunity. That
opportunity comes when there are opposition forces appearing. That
could be the secret of the success of the rebels. The pasifist among
the rebels should realise that peaceful demonstrations are just
useless against such a cruel regime.

A few clergy are withholding weapons from these youngsters. Heavy
weapons such as rocket launchers are safe for them because they cannot
use them to rob people that easily. So are the anti aircraft guns.
They may be obsolete but are most useful for a civilain army, no
matter how disorganised they are.

These people use their own vehicles to transport themselves and their
weapons such as these anti aircraft guns. These antiaircraft guns are
useful against helicopters that will be used against them. Without
them they will be sitting ducks.

It surprises me that many of these guns are not deployed but still
kept at the weapons depo that are slowly but surely being destroyed by
Gadafi's forces, no matter how unwilling these pilots are. It is just
strange that these pilots cannot destroy these buildings quickly. They
must have been unmotivated to destroy them. Stories about ground
sabotage is likely to be true for the explosion of the Benghazi
weapons dump.

In disorganized surge, Libya's rebels push west along shifting front

Ras Lanuf and Bin Jawad, Libya

Sitting in the bed of a pickup rumbling full throttle toward the
frontlines of the Libyan opposition's struggle against Muammar
Qaddafi, Salim Fatah bin Kayali grins into the wind and insists
"there's no stopping us now."

The bookish and deeply pious young man is sharing a 25-year-old AK-47
with a friend from his hometown of Derna and admits he's never fired
the weapon before.

He participated with rocks and Molotov cocktails in the fight to drive
Qaddafi's forces from Derna, in eastern Libya, two weeks ago, and says
he's eager to do "whatever I can for our revolution. Qaddafi is a
terrorist, and he's divided our people and stole our money for too
long." His father – who was jailed for seven years after a business
deal he made with a relative of Qaddafi's soured -- produced the old
rifle when his son insisted he was heading west.

But today, Mr. Kayali was destined for disappointment along with his
truckload of would-be rebel fighters, as the front line kept shifting
ever westward before they could catch up.

Kayali is part of a disorganized surge west of pickups, private
sedans, and ambulances carrying doctors and medical supplies. Under
way for days, it is also bringing food provided by businessmen in
Ajdabiya and Benghazi, ammunition salvaged from military bases, and
about a thousand men determined to take the fight to Qaddafi.

A strange, almost formless war

It's part of a strange, almost formless war that would shock the
Allied and Axis generals that contested the northern Libyan Desert for
years during fierce fighting in World War II.

The irregulars of the emerging rebel army, with limited coordination,
weak communications, and disorganized supply lines, appear to be easy
pickings for any organized military force that might oppose them. But
so far, they've gone from strength to strength against an enemy that
appears even weaker.

Starting from the oil town of Brega, which saw fierce fighting as an
incursion by Qaddafi loyalists was beaten back on Thursday, they raced
40 miles on, past the airport and oil refinery at Ras Lanuf, where
bullet casings on the ground and burned-out cars are a reminder of the
battle for control of this key city that the rebels won yesterday.

Ras Lanuf, which saw pitched battles yesterday that claimed 17 lives,
is oddly quiet, with just a few militiamen at a checkpoint. The
participants in the previous day's battle have already pushed on along
the coast. Thirty miles on comes the town of Bin Jawad, which the
rebels seized this morning without much of a fight.

Here, the rebels are massing.

A few hundred men in mismatched fatigues, hooded robes, and T-shirts
mill along the main road, burning the green flag that Qaddafi
introduced to Libya, participating in a firing squad for a poster of
Qaddafi propped up in the desert, and firing anti-aircraft guns into
the air, apparently for fun.

A group of local youths goes about the business of setting fire to the
local reading room for Qaddafi's "green book," the rambling pamphlet
he penned and that underpins his one-man rule in a town that just a
few hours before was too frightened to side with the rebels or to help
Qaddafi.

But then a rumor flashes through the group that a force of 600
"mercenaries" in Qaddafi's employ are waiting for them down the road.
The fighters with heavy-machine guns mounted in their pickups or lucky
enough to have rocket-propelled grenade launchers race off first,
followed by the rest of the odd, martial cavalcade.

Within 15 minutes, the Bin Jawad checkpoint is quiet again, a few
gunmen mixed with excited local residents. By nightfall, the group had
made it as far as Nufala, which they claimed without firing a shot in
anger. No mercenaries or other pro-Qaddafi forces were found.
Gaining 150 miles

In three days, the at least nominally rebel-controlled zone on the
eastern coast has extended about 150 miles and is now knocking on the
doorstep of Sirte, Qaddafi's hometown and his major stronghold after
the capital, Tripoli.

Back in Benghazi, civilians working with the transitional government
claim that some branches of Qaddafi's own tribe are turning against
him, and that the rush west is having a powerful effect on fence-
sitters.

"It may not seem sound militarily, but I think this is working to our
advantage," says Jalal al-Gala, a businessman who acts as an informal
spokesman for the transitional government. "It sends a message we're
coming, and is encouraging people to abandon Qaddafi."

The young men, flush with easy gains, insist they're heading to Sirte
tomorrow. It's hard to imagine the town falling without a tough
struggle, filled as it is with relatives and tribesmen of Qaddafi's
who, unlike the Libyan public at large, have profited from his rule.

"Those are the people who fight for him – the ones who have gotten
money," says Abdel Hamid, a contractor from Adjabiya who's using his
truck to ferry fighters west. "The only thing the rest of us have
gotten from our oil is the bad smell and pollution in the sea."
Qaddafi forces active in rebel territory

And Qaddafi's forces are still active in eastern Libya. In Ras Lanuf,
where a crude oil pipeline ends at a refinery, a pro-Qaddafi
helicopter bombed a small ammunition dump at a military base outside
town.

In the early afternoon here, the rebels said the anti-aircraft guns of
the rebellion claimed their first success, taking down a MIG fighter
jet and killing its two pilots. The wreckage of the plane and the dead
airmen lend support to that claim.

Now, two crucial oil depots have fallen to rebels in as many days.
Residents of Zawiya, a major oil town just west of Tripoli that has
withstood repeated attacks by Qaddafi's forces in recent days, say
government forces shelled the town with tank-fire this morning, and
claimed dozens were killed.

US Congressman beats Supercomputer at Jeopardy

This is the first article that I read that specifically mentions IBM
Watson as a supercomputer. Unlike typical supercomputers that tend to
use blade servers, IBM Watson uses, rack mounted computers complete
with display cards for each computer. However its characteristics is
just like any cluster computers which can be rack mounted or
independent workstations or personal computers networked together.
It shows the importance of learning about cluster computing. UMS has 2
sets of rack mounted cluster servers. Many Malaysian universities also
have these cluster servers and offered to others through the National
Computing Grid. The ones at UMS will use Linux based ROCKS Cluster.

of congress - Jared Polis (D-Colo.), Bill Cassidy (R-La.), Jim Himes
(D-Conn.), Rush Holt (D-N.J.) - for an exhibition game against IBM's
Watson on Monday.
TRENTON — The answer is: This rocket scientist congressman from
central New Jersey took down IBM supercomputer "Watson" during a round
of Jeopardy!
Question: Who is Rush Holt?
In a battle of wits between man and machine at a Capitol Hill hotel
Monday night, Holt (D-12th Dist.) triumphed over "Watson" in one round
of an exhibition match sponsored by IBM. Holt finished the round with
8,600 points to the computer's 6,200.
The event was designed to foster discussion about U.S. global
competitiveness, positive implications of technology and more
investment in math and science education, according to IBM.
Four of Holt's colleagues — U.S. Reps. Bill Cassidy (R-La.), Nan
Hayworth (R-N.Y.), Jim Himes (D-Conn.) and Jared Polis (D-Colo.) —
challenged Watson but couldn't compete with the computer.
During three televised episodes of the game show last month, Watson
trounced Jeopardy! champions Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter.
Holt, a physicist who was a five-time Jeopardy! champion long before
he entered the House, parlayed his victory into a call to support math
and science education and invest in new technology.

"I was proud to hold my own with Watson," Holt said. "More
importantly, I was proud to join IBM and other members of Congress to
highlight the importance of science and math education and research
and development."
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) chimed in on Twitter,
writing "Congratulations to @RushHolt for showing @IBMWatson human
intelligence isn't in #jeopardy!"
IBM spokeswoman Lia Davis said the computer that went up against Holt
was not the exact one that competed on television, but a simulation.
Davis said the company did not view the contest as "man vs. machine,"
since Watson was built by people.
"Even if Watson wins, humans win," she said.
Holt's office said the congressman crushed the computer in categories
such as phobias, presidential ryhmes and laundry detergent, where he
knew a three-letter nickname for the Beatles was "Fab."
Watson's winners included a very human response to the clue of "a
temporary insanity curable by marriage." The computer correctly
answered, "What is love?"

Muslims not following Islamic teaching

Muslim nations, like Turkey, have not been following the Islamic
teaching as taught by Prophet Muhammad to stop evil things using
whatever means at our disposal.

It is the non-Muslims advanced nations that had been doing the
stopping. First in Iraq, and then in Libya. It may be for the sake of
oil but the world is also involved. The price of oil had gone up when
Libya is in chaos, as a result of the brutal, illegal murders of
unarmed protestors. It will affect the economy of nations which are
mostly Muslim nations where the majority of their populations live
below the poverty level. Rising oil prices will make the prices of
food high as well.

The world has a lot of interest in stabilising this region, and true
stability is not achieved by using cruel dictators that violate human
rights laws. Whatever stability in nations that are controlled by
violent regimes are only on the surface. True stability can only be
achieved in a democracy where dissenting opinions are all brought up
front for all to discuss.

Turkey says Nato move on Libya 'absurd'

By Delphine Strauss in Ankara and James Blitz in London

Published: March 1 2011 13:03 | Last updated: March 1 2011 13:52

Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey's prime minister, has hit out at US and
UK calls for military intervention in the Libya crisis, warning that
would be an "absurdity" for the Nato alliance to intervene in the
region.

As the stance of Turkey, a prominent western ally, was bolstered by
similar comments from non-Nato member Russia, the US and UK led calls
for tougher action to stop the violent crackdown against opposition
forces by Muammer Gaddafi, Libya's leader. Both Washington and London
are saying they are looking at the possible establishment of a no-fly
zone to prevent air attacks on towns held by rebels.

But Mr Erdogan said on Monday such plans were "unthinkable", telling a
conference in Germany: "As Turkey, we are against this – it should not
even be discussed."

Turkey has the second largest standing army in the 28-member Nato
defence alliance and has an increasingly influential voice in the
Middle East, where its growing economic weight has helped it renew old
ties with its neighbours.

Sergei Lavrov, the foreign minister of Russia, a permanent member of
the UN security council, also ruled out the idea of a no-fly zone on
Tuesday. But Mr Erdogan's comments suggest it could be difficult for a
western military operation to be conducted under Nato auspices. Nato
tends to take decisions on military action by consensus. If it is
unable to reach this consensus, the US and UK may be forced to mount a
no-fly zone using an informal coalition of willing states.

France also expressed doubts about about military intervention,
stressing that humanitarian aid and cutting off Col Gaddafi's income
sources should be the priorities.

Mr Erdogan, who faces the additional embarrassment of having accepted
a human rights prize from Mr Gaddafi in December, has been careful to
distance Turkey from western policies in the region. He said on Monday
any form of sanctions or intervention could endanger the lives of
Libyans and foreigners still in the country and he suggested that
western governments were motivated more by calculations over oil than
humanitarian concerns.

"The Middle East and Africa have been viewed by the west as sources of
oil and used as pawns in oil wars for decades," he said in Germany,
claiming western double standards over human rights had driven
protesters onto the streets.

Such rhetoric plays well with voters at home, where anti-American
sentiment has strengthened in recent years, and opposition to Israeli
policies in Gaza has hardened.

Turkey's resistance to financial sanctions against Libya is also
consistent with the position it took last year towards Iran, when
defied Washington to vote against UN sanctions targeting Tehran's
nuclear programme.

"Any type of sanctions or intervention that would punish the Libyan
people is unacceptable and would cause massive problems," Mr Erdogan
said at the conference."

A Turkish diplomat also compared the rejection of military
intervention to Ankara's position in 2003, when parliament voted to
refuse American troops use of Turkish territory for the invasion of
Iraq – a decision that caught the west by surprise, but bolstered
Turkey's diplomatic credibility as an independent player in the
region.

However, Mr Erdogan has faced criticism within Turkey for being slow
to speak out in support of the protests erupting across the region.

Since the explosion of protest in Egypt, he has called for governments
across the region to heed protestors' concerns, but has been slow to
comment directly on the chaos unfolding in Libya – where Turkey's
priority has been the evacuation of more than 15,000 expatriate
workers.

Kemal KılıçdaroÄŸlu, leader of the opposition Republican People's Party
(CHP), on Tuesday accused Mr Erdogan of "double standards", wanting
democracy for Egypt but not for Libya.

"When we look at the Middle East, we are not among those who look at
its oil," Mr Erdogan said. "We say democracy, human rights, justice,
law… Whatever we say in Cairo, we say also in Tripoli. We do not get
involved in anyone's internal affairs."

Why only non-Muslims trying to stop the genocide in Libya?

I have yet to hear Muslim nations announcing financial freeze and
other sanctions against Libiya, especially Gaddafi.

It seems as though Muslim governments do not condemn Gaddafi's actions
against his own people. What Gaddafi had done had been making stupid
comments about western imperialism when he is even worse than those
that he had accused. Similarly for all Muslim governments, Malaysia
and Indonesia included.

These are nations that are supposed to be voted into power by Muslims.
Is it because these governments don't listen to the people or most
likely the people are not vocal about the massacres that are happening
in Libya.

The United States says it is consulting allies about military options
for dealing with Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi's deadly crackdown on
opposition forces trying to end his 42-year autocratic rule.

U.S. officials said Monday "all options" are under consideration,
including the imposition of a no-fly zone to prevent Mr. Gadhafi's air
force from staging further attacks on rebels who control eastern Libya
and parts of the west. British Prime Minister David Cameron said
London also is working on a plan for a no-fly zone over Libya.

U.S. commanders said they were moving naval and air forces closer to
Libya to provide the Obama administration with options for carrying
out humanitarian or other missions.

The U.S. State Department said Washington has been in contact with
Libyan opposition groups in recent days to understand their needs and
concerns. But, U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice said
it is "premature" to discuss military assistance to the opposition
while its various factions try to become more organized.

The United States also was increasing financial pressure on Mr.
Gadhafi's government, freezing $30 billion in his family's U.S.-based
assets following the imposition of unilateral sanctions last week. A
U.S. Treasury official said the asset freeze is the largest ever to be
approved by the U.S. government in a single executive order.

The United States and its Western allies want Mr. Gadhafi to step down
immediately, saying he has lost legitimacy after his forces killed
hundreds of opposition protesters and military defectors in the two-
week-old uprising.

White House spokesman Jay Carney said Washington would support Mr.
Gadhafi going into exile if such a move hastens his departure, but
believes the Libyan ruler and his aides must be held accountable for
their actions, regardless.

U.S. President Barack Obama telephoned Canadian Prime Minister Stephen
Harper Monday to thank him for joining the United States in adopting
tough sanctions against Mr. Gadhafi's government. Canada announced a
series of sanctions Sunday, including an asset freeze on the Libyan
leader and his relatives.

The White House said Mr. Obama and Mr. Harper agreed on a need to
deter further violence by Mr. Gadhafi's forces, hold him and others
accountable for human rights violations and provide humanitarian
assistance to the Libyan people.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Washington is allocating
$10 million in emergency aid to organizations on the ground in Libya.
Speaking on a visit to Geneva, she said the United States also is
sending two humanitarian teams to help thousands of displaced people
at Libya's borders with Tunisia and Egypt.

The European Union also agreed to a package of sanctions against Mr.
Gadhafi Monday, reinforcing measures adopted by the U.N. Security
Council last week.

Despite his increasing international isolation, the Libyan leader won
some rare diplomatic support Monday from a longtime ally in Latin
America. Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said he will not condemn
Mr. Gadhafi, and accused the United States of preparing to invade
Libya to steal its oil.

In another development, the U.S. State Department said Mr. Gadhafi's
government has fired its ambassador to Washington, Ali Aujali, who
defected to the Libyan opposition last week. State Department
spokesman PJ Crowley said Libya informed Washington that it is
replacing Aujali with a chargé d'affaires who is a Gadhafi loyalist.

Crowley said Washington is maintaining diplomatic relations with Libya
in order to keep the option of communicating directly with Mr.
Gadhafi's government.

I'll buy a Windows 7 Tablet

I need windows 7 because my software runs on Win 7 but I need an
extremely light but affordable device.
Looking at the specs, 2.1in screen(?), maybe 12.1 in, instead of Atom
processor, you have i5, which means that its batteri is going to last
only a few hours and bound to be heavy.

If the price is right, I may buy it.
