Why Should You Visit Sabah?

Because it is heaven on earth.
You are safest from any natural disaster. There was an earthquake a few years sgo, but there was no earth quale for hundreds of years.
The beautiful places, islands and beaches are not far from modern cities, and not crowded. The locals are used to heaven, so they prefer to seek hell in other cities. Overcrowding, cold, monotonous food and cultures.
Sabah is a convergence of cultures all over the world. West, India and China, even from Philippines and Indonesia.
Although Sabah is the poorest in Malaysia by a large margin, and among the poorest in the world with the worst roads, the poor people are still the minority, less than 20% and better still they are satisfied with their poverty, because they are surrounded by heaven. Just drive with SUV or high ground clearance large and safe cars. Be careful with the poor roads and carefree drivers.
Because Sabah is the richest in natural resources in Malaysia, and can match the resources of the world, our cities are modern and can match the cities all over the world. But our prices are also very high compared to places like Indonesia and Vietnam.
I visit the best cities in the world, London, Paris, Istanbul, Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and their natural parks, not because they are better than similar places in Sabah, but because they are the authentic and alternative experiences.
Sabahan weather is perpetual summer, but the highest temperature is 34 degree C. The lowest temperature is 21 degree C, but in some towns, it once dropped to 10 degree C, and a few people died. If you want to experience freezing temperatures, you can go up to Mount Kinabalu. We may suffer from high humidity, but just take off your shirt and enjoy the breeze. It is more comfortable and light without any cloth on you.

Shoulf Public Transport be Free

Agree 100%.
At least it reduces the cost of collecting fares.
It also encourages the operators to be on time, instead of waiting for the bus to be full. In my city, the driver was willing to wait for one hour, to make sure the bus is full, when the walking time is just 15 minutes.
You may think it is impossible, but it actually happened to me personally at Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.
As to the high cost of subsidies of public transportation, just spend a little bit more.
As to where the extra income come from, just tax the car drivers more. If they realise that it is for the good of car drivers, they will support it for sure.

Fair to punish society for neglecting the poor to death

[13/01, 10:03] Othman Ahmad: *I WEPT AFTER READING THIS JUDGE'S SENTENCE ON A 15 YEAR OLD BOY...*

This was a fifteen year old boy.... He was caught stealing bread from a store. On trying to escape from the hold of the guard, a shelf of the store was also broken.

*The judge heard the crime and asked the boy, “Did you really steal something, a loaf of bread and cheese?”*

The boy responded by looking down.;- “Yes.”

Judge: - “Why?”

Boy: - “I needed it.”

Judge: - “Couldn't you have bought?”

Boy: - “There was no money.”

Judge: - “Take it from the family.”

Boy: - “There is only a mother in the house. Sick and unemployed.

Judge: - “You don't do anything?”

Boy: - “Used to wash a car. When I took a day off to take care of my mother, I was fired.”

Judge: - “Don’t you ask someone for help?”

Boy: - “Had left the house since morning, went to about fifty (50) people, but no help; so, I decided to take this step at the very end.”

*When the arguments ended, the judge began to pronounce the verdict;

... “the theft and especially the stealing of Bread by a hungry boy is a very shameful crime and we are all responsible for this crime."

*Every person in the court, including me, is guilty and a perpetrator, so every person present here is fined ten dollars each.  No one can get out of here without giving ten dollars.”*

Saying this, the judge took ten dollars out of his own pocket and then picked up the pen and started writing name accordingly:

- ‘In addition, I fine the store a thousand dollars for handing over a hungry child to the Police.’

‘If the penalty is not deposited within 24 hours, the court will order to seal the store.’ also the Police is fined the same amount for charging a hungry boy to court.

'By giving the full amount of fine to this boy, the court asks for forgiveness from that boy.'

After hearing the verdict, tears were pouring from the eyes of the people present in the court, that boy's  handcuffs were also untied. The boy was watching the judge again and again, who came out hiding his tears.

*Are our society, systems and courts ready for such a decision?*

*if a hungry person is caught stealing bread, then the people of that country should be ashame.

 If this touches your heart:
chose someone to give succour... People around you should not sleep without food’*

*PLEASE I AM BEGGING YOU IF YOU'RE MOVED BY THIS MESSAGE, BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE, LOOK AROUND YOU AND MAKE SOMEBODY HAPPY, NO MATTER HOW SMALL, YOU ARE BETTER THAN SOME PEOPLE, YOU DON'T NEED TO BE RICH TO GIVE FROM THE LITTLE  YOU HAVE. THANK YOU*

You can share this in other platform you belong. It will go a long way in feeding the hungry today.

Kenapa insuran kah, hiba kah, takaful kah, medical kah, saving kah, semua nya merugikan? Komisin nya lebih 20%. Kalau kita batar rm1,000 setahun, 2 tahun berturut turut komisin nya 100%.

Takwah is the Secret of Cycling Around the World Safely

https://youtu.be/Lb4CGMirBNI

She was a girl who was scared of so many things. It did not stop her from cycling around the world, safely. This is the power of being paranoid, the basis of real safety. When in doubt, take extra precautions such as switching on all lights when going to the toilet.

Just because most probably she will not suffer from harm in her own home when going to toilets at night, there are cases of people getting hurt. Just like Murphy's law. Anything that can happen, will happen. It should not stop her from going to the toilet at night. Too inconvenient to wait for daylight and will create worse health problems.

Watch her YouTube channel and learn from her experiences.

She is actually practising Takwah, as written in the Quran. Takwah is clearly defined in Surah Yasin. The word is translated to "fear", and "takut" in Malaysia, actually translated in many Malay translations and note the closeness of the words. Arabic, "taku", Malay, "takut". However, Muslims tend to translate Takwah as submission to God which is forbidden in Surah Yasin, in the subsequent 2 sentence. The full sentence is to fear what will come in the future and what had passed.

Quran must be read with understanding, verse 69 Yasin

Abdullah Yusuf Ali
(36:69) We have not instructed the (Prophet) in Poetry, nor is it meet for him: this is no less than a Message and a Qur’an making things clear:

From:

So clearly Quran is not poetry. It is a lesson and gidance for muslims. To read it without any understanding is certainly treating it like poetry, which is specifically denied by this verse.

Then why are so many muslims told to read quran without any understanding? There are so many hadiths where muslims are encouraged to read the quran and spread it even if it were just one verse, and yet there are so many muslims who stop muslims from reading with understanding, because muslims are not supposed to use their brains in interpreting the quran, but must rely on ulamas or scholars for their interpretation.

No such requirement that muslims must stupidly follow what the scholars are saying about the quran, while reading the quran blind and dumb. This advice is certainly against all hadis and quranic verses.

What makes it worse is that these scholars never agree with each other. The simple conclusions are that they are all wrong. They cannot be right if they all disagree with each other.

If the scholars are all wrong, what hope do ordinary muslims in getting the interpretation of the quran correct? Most of us will therefore get it wrong but we are commanded to read the quran with some understanding. So, it means that it does not matter that we are wrong, as long as we refer to the original words of the quran and hadith, interpreted with noble intentions, we should not be condemned.

Furthermore, a lot of imams will recite verses of the quran and give overall meanings of the verses so these should be sufficient for us to obey this verse 69 of Yasin. Better still, we should double our efforts to read translations. Many scholars support this view, and many qurans appear with phrase by phrase translations, and overall verse translations. This is my main quranic reading material from now on.
